Sound and Music is the UK’s landmark agency for new music and sound. It brings together practitioners, producers and promoters under one roof. Sohrab Uduman is a featured composer on this site.
The Music Department at Keele was established in 1973. Since then, its activities and specialities have become internationally recognised. At the centre of the department’s teaching and research is its commitment to contemporary music of all kinds. Sohrab Uduman is Programmes Director for Music and Music Technology here.
IRCAM, the Institute for Research and Coordination Acoustic/Music, is one of the world’s largest public research centres dedicated to both musical expression and scientific research. IRCAM commissioned a piece from Sohrab Uduman for the Agora Festival in 2000.
The Arditti Quartet enjoys a world-wide reputation for their spirited and technically refined interpretations of contemporary and earlier 20th century music. The Arditti Quartet performed Sohrab Uduman’s Tracing metamorphoses in Paris in 2002.

Sohrab Uduman’s Breath across autumnal ground was performed at Oxford Brookes as part of a Sonic Arts Research Unit Symposium in 2007.
