This programme is based around a newly commissioned work for flute, clarinet and voice by Jérôme Combier based on a text by Kenneth White, “walking the coast”, inspired by the Scottish coastline. This new piece will be heard alongside works by a selection of French and British composers who have all explored the creative possibilities of this unusual trio.
